Overall, we are happy with the results, but there are some areas for us to improve.<\/p>\n<p>You can see in the short presentation below a summary of the highlights and the areas our clients have told us to work on. Prior to setting up Granit Architects, Robert worked under renowned architect Demetri Porphyrios, had spells at the UK\u2019s Department for the Environment - where he worked on projects for the Royal Hospital Chelsea and the Tower of London - and as a junior architect for the Murray Cockburn Partnership in Fiji. At Granit, Robert has developed a rich expertise in designing residential buildings for both private clients and commercial investors. His architecture has appeared in The Architects Journal, Grand Designs, Living etc, The Sunday Telegraph, RIBA Housing Design Guide, Ideal Homes Magazine, Channel4.com\u2019s Designer Homes series and more. Away from residential work, Robert has also designed for retail, office and manufacturing sectors, including Jamie Oliver\u2019s bakery and a library for the Benjamin Britten Foundation. In 2024 Robert set up Robert Wilson Architect Ltd offering a more bespoke service drawing on his many years of experience and working in partnership with known colleagues. Robert appreciates architecture from Edwin Lutyens, Marcel Breuer and Eric Parry, the influence of whom you may find in some of Robert's portfolio.
